HISTORY & BACKGROUND

Taylor Contractors of Florida, Inc., a full service contracting company, was founded and incorporated in 1975.

Taylor Contractors was one of the founding partners in ERB Building Systems of Port Charlotte, Florida.

Peter F. Taylor managed the day-to-day affairs of ERB from 1975 through early 1984. During that time, more than 15,000 living units were constructed. Completed contracts exceeded $125,000,000. During Taylor's tenure with ERB, numerous churches, banks, steel buildings, recreation centers and agricultural projects were also completed under his direction.

In 1984 Taylor Contractors of Florida opened offices in Punta Gorda and in September 2000 moved to their new 7,500 square foot office building at 645 Charlotte Street, Punta Gorda, Florida.

During the past 21 years, Taylor Contractors has completed more than 450 contracts totaling over $130,000,000.00 including government projects, financial institutions, medical facilities, industrial and manufacturing facilities, residential, board & care and retail construction.

Taylor Contractors of Florida, Inc. has never failed to complete a project. Taylor has never been involved in bankruptcy or reorganization and does not have any pending judgments, claims or suits.
